Antique Diamond Star Brooch

This spectacular antique brooch (circa 1880-1900) features a silver topped, 14k gold star, studded with 1.25 carats of glittery diamonds.

The piece measures 1 inch from top to bottom by 1.1 inches wide. The brooch is in excellent condition; however, there was likely originally a collapsible bail that is no longer present on the reverse of the piece.
