Charming and exquisitely detailed, this Victorian-era stickpin (circa 1870–1890) features a finely enameled parrot's head, rendered in vibrant hues and crafted in solid 14k gold. The parrot delicately clasps a small pearl in its beak, adding a touch of whimsy and natural elegance to the piece.
A testament to 19th-century craftsmanship, the enamel work is remarkably well preserved. There is minor wear or evidence of past restoration near the eye, visible only under magnification—typical of a well-loved antique over 130 years old.
The pin head measures approximately 0.4 inches by 0.6 inches, with a total length of 2.1 inches. The gold has been confirmed through XRF and jeweler’s acid testing to ensure solid 14k purity.
Materials: Gold, enamel, 14k gold.
