Antique Turquoise and Pearl Tulip Stickpin of 14k Gold

This antique stickpin (circa 1800–1830) features a finely crafted tulip blossom, its petals rendered in silver and studded with turquoise cabochons, while tiny pearls form the delicate anthers. The flower rests on a contrasting stem of 14k gold, highlighting the refined craftsmanship of early 19th-century jewelers.

The tulip, prized for its beauty and elegance, was also a beloved symbol of prosperity and perfect love during the Georgian era, lending this piece both romantic and historical resonance.

Measuring 3.6 inches in length by 0.55 inches across, the stickpin is beautifully proportioned. The gold content has been verified through XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming purity and authenticity.

In very good condition, this jewel is a rare survivor from the early 19th century—a poetic blend of turquoise, pearl, and precious metals that reflects the artistry and sentimentality of the Georgian period.

Materials: Pearl, Turquoise, Silver, 14k gold.
