Antique Violet Heart Earrings of 14k Gold

A charming pair of earrings featuring 14K gold hearts adorned with delicate purple enamel violets, each accented by two petite diamond centers and topped with 0.10-carat Old European cut diamond surmounts (0.20 carats total diamond weight for the pair). The floral hearts were originally part of an antique brooch circa 1895–1910. The violet motif, long associated with modesty, affection, and remembrance, adds a particularly sentimental quality to the romantic heart-shaped design.

Our jeweler thoughtfully transformed the original brooch elements into earrings by adding 14K gold ear wires and individual 0.10-carat Old European cut diamond surmounts, creating a graceful pairing that combines antique craftsmanship with contemporary wearability.

Each earring measures approximately 0.9 inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom by 0.45 inches wide, with a combined weight of 2.42 grams. They remain in great antique condition.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 14K gold construction.
