Art Nouveau Enamel Woman Brooch of 18k Gold

During the turn of the nineteenth century, artisans working in the Art Nouveau style were inspired by the changing roles of women in society and began depicting the free flowing feminine form in brooches, bracelets, rings and more.

This antique 18k gold & iridescent enamel brooch (circa 1900-1910) features a woman with a ruby and diamond headdress.

The substantial pin measures 1 inch by 1 inch and is in great condition; however there is a small chip to the diamond and the enamel of the woman's chin and forehead.

Materials: Diamond, Gold.
