A breathtaking example of Art Deco elegance, this antique ring (circa 1920) centers on a luminous marquise-cut white opal, its surface alive with shifting flashes of color. Surrounding the opal in a halo of brilliance are 30 old mine cut diamonds, each meticulously set in platinum, together creating a jewel that captures the refined glamour of the Jazz Age.
The face of the ring measures 1 inch by 0.65 inches wide, and the piece weighs a substantial 9.11 grams. Currently a size 7.5, it may be resized upon request for an additional charge.
The metal content has been verified using XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring both authenticity and purity.
In great condition, this ring exemplifies the opulent design and exquisite craftsmanship characteristic of the Art Deco period. A striking statement piece, it transitions effortlessly from day to evening and would make a remarkable addition to any fine jewelry collection.
