Beetle Pendant | Pietra Dura Mosaic Pendant

Pietra Dura is a form of Florentine mosaic created when artisans cut and set colorful hard stones against a blank slate or marble background.

This pendant was converted from an antique brooch (circa 1880) by removing the pin and adding a gold bail. If features a green beetle of malachite, agate, and jasper set against white marble with a bloodstone backing.

The pendant measures 1.6 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 1 inch wide and is in excellent condition.
