Bloodstone Ring | Antique Bloodstone Ring

Bloodstone is a deep green chalcedony with tiny flecks of red iron oxide scattered throughout. Worn since ancient times, the stone has been fabled to increase athletic endurance, stop bleeding, and protect against poison.

This bloodstone ring (circa 1900-1910) features a deeply saturated bloodstone set into a simple 10k gold mounting.

The ring is in good condition with light surface wear to the bloodstone and two small crimps on the rim of the band. It is currently a size 5.5 and can be resized free of charge.
