Antique Chalcedony and Enamel Ring of 14k Gold

A dramatic jewel of luminous beauty, this antique ring (circa 1910–1920) features a domed chalcedony cabochon with a captivating blue hue, measuring approximately 20mm north-to-south by 10mm east-to-west. The ethereal chalcedony is set in a 14k gold mounting, framed by alternating bands of blue and white enamel, with matching enamel accents gracing the shoulders of the band.

While the mounting is original to the early 20th century, the chalcedony is a later replacement stone, chosen to harmonize seamlessly with the ring’s design. The gold content has been verified using XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring both purity and authenticity.

Currently a size 6, the ring may be resized for an additional charge. It remains in good condition overall, with minor enamel wear visible only under magnification. Bold, luminous, and refined, this piece captures the elegance of Edwardian to early Art Deco craftsmanship, making it an exceptional addition to a curated antique collection.

Materials: chalcedony, enamel, 14k gold.
