Crab Charm | 14k Gold Crab

In some cultures the symbol of the crab is associated with rebirth and renewal because it continually casts off its existing shell for a new one. The crab is also the symbol of the Zodiac's Cancer sign representing those who's birthdays fall between June 21 -July 23.

This intriguing charm features a finely enameled crab with a baroque pearl body. The crab was originally part of a 14k gold stick pin (circa 1890-1910) that our jeweler transformed by expertly removing the pin stem and welding on a gold jump ring bail.

The crab measures 0.6 inches from the top of the jump ring bail to the bottom of the charm by 0.5 inches wide, and it is in very good condition.
