Antique Demantoid Diamond and Pearl Conversion Necklace of 14k Gold

Nature’s poetry is exquisitely captured in this Edwardian-era treasure (circa 1900–1915), now reimagined as a necklace of timeless sophistication. Originally a brooch, the piece was masterfully converted into a pendant by our jeweler, who removed the original pin findings and affixed a hand-welded 14k gold chain. The botanical motif—crafted in 18k gold—displays rich texture and dimensional artistry.

Delicate flowers of snowy natural pearl and vivid green demantoid garnet bloom along a textural branch, while rose cut diamond leaves sparkle in graceful harmony. The result is a wearable tableau of organic elegance and antique refinement.

The pendant measures 1.2 inches wide by 0.5 inches tall, and is suspended from a 17-inch gold chain. The necklace is in great antique condition, with only minor, age-appropriate wear: a small chip to the girdle of the demantoid garnet (visible only under magnification) and a few minuscule nibbles to the facets of some rose cut diamonds.

The metal content has been independently verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming the authenticity of both 14k and 18k gold elements.

This one-of-a-kind piece merges romantic naturalism with superb antique craftsmanship—an heirloom-worthy jewel for the collector who values both beauty and provenance.

Materials: demantoid garnet, pearl, diamond, 14k gold, 18k gold.
