Vintage Carved Coral Dragon Tie Tack of Silver

This vintage tie tack (circa 1940-1960) features a finely carved coral dragon mounted on a silver-plated backing. The intricate carving captures the mythical creature’s form with depth and texture, making it a striking conversation piece.

The tie tack measures 1 inch by 2.55 inches long and is in very good condition. The metal content of the backing was verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing.
