Gargoyles were originally designed as water spouts to preserve a building's masonry, therefore many consider them to be symbols of protection.
This antique pendant (circa 1910-1920) features a gargoyle of 10k gold with vibrant ruby eyes and a diamond in its jaws. The initials DLG are engraved on the reverse.
The piece measures 1.2 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1 inch wide. It is in good condition with two very small dings on the bottom right of the front and a light indentation on back of the piece.
Materials: Ruby, Gold.
