Antique Silver Giardinetti Flower Basket Pendant

Giardinetti is Italian for 'little garden' and describes many pieces from the 19th century depicting arrangements of flowers.

This antique pendant (circa 1885-1900) features a silver flower basket adorned with pink and green paste (glass), marcasites and a single pearl accent.

The pendant bears a carp hallmark indicating that it was made in Switzerland. It is 800-875 parts silver (slightly less than sterling) and measures 1.2 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 1 inch wide. The piece is in great condition.
