Griffin and Onyx Heart Conversion Pendant of 14k Gold

A jewel of symbolism and artistry, this pendant features a polished onyx heart crowned with a tricolor gold griffin, masterfully detailed and holding a single luminous pearl in its tail. The griffin—an ancient emblem of strength, protection, and divine power—was originally the centerpiece of an antique stickpin (circa 1900). Our jeweler has reimagined it into a statement pendant by riveting it onto a vintage onyx heart and mounting the composition in solid 14k gold.

The pendant measures 1.25 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom by 1 inch wide, and it is offered with a 16-inch 14k gold chain. It remains in good condition with light surface wear consistent with age and transformation.

For complete assurance of authenticity, the gold has been professionally verified using both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing, confirming its 14k purity.
