Antique Griffin Conversion Charm of 14k Gold

Griffins, with the body of the lion and wings of an eagle, are powerful heraldic figures symbolizing courage and strength.

This 14k gold charm was converted from an antique stick pin (circa 1900-1910) by removing the pin and adding a jump ring bail. It depicts a griffin with a single diamond in its jaws.

The piece measures 0.7 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.7 inches wide. It is in very good condition with original patina.
