- Beauty is who you are. Jewelry is simply icing on the cake. - M.Burgess
Victorians were fascinated with naturalism and brought their flora and fauna indoors in the form of insects and nature.
This pendant was originally an antique pin (circa 1910-1920) that was converted by removing the pin and adding a 14k gold bail. The piece features an insect of sterling silver with bold moonstones and glistening rubies. The largest moonstone is a glass doublet.
The piece measures 1.4 inches from wing tip to wing tip, and it is in very good condition.
Materials: Ruby, Silver.
