Iris Pendant | Flower Pendant

Iris, the Greek goddess of the rainbow, was said to bridge heaven and earth, and for centuries, purple irises were planted over graves so the goddess could guide souls to heaven.

This delightful iris pendant was originally an antique 14k gold brooch (circa 1910) transformed by removing the pin findings and welding on a moveable 14k gold bail. The piece features iridescent enamel and a pearl accent.

The pendant measures 1.55 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.4 inches wide, and it is in very good condition with some minor loss to the enamel visible under close inspection.
