Jade is the most sought-after gemstone in China. As the old saying goes, "Gold has value, but jade is invaluable."
This magnificent Art Nouveau ring (circa 1915) features a gleaming minty green jadeite jade in an asymmetrical gold mounting. A stylized floral design encircles the jade, adding a refined and stylish touch. It is unmarked, but acid tests for 14k gold.
The face of the ring measures 1.1 inches from top to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and is in very good condition. The ring is a size 5, but can be re-sized free of charge.
