A striking cobalt blue sapphire highlighted by a squiggle of glittery diamonds.
This unusual antique ring (circa 1900-1910) holds a natural, untreated blue sapphire of approximately 1.5 carats and 18 diamonds (16 single cuts and 2 rose cut stones).
The top of the ring measures 1 inch from north to south by 0.35 inches from east to west. It is unmarked, but acid tests as 14k gold with a thin silver overlay near the diamonds.
The ring is currently a size 8, but it can be re-sized free of charge. It is in good condition; however, there is some light surface wear to the sapphire and nibbles to a few of the diamonds visible only under magnification. Three of the diamonds appear to be later replacements and not original to the ring.
Materials: Sapphire, Gold.
