Sapphire & Enamel Ball Pendant | Antique Sapphire Charm

One of the most important gemstones, sapphires have been treasured throughout the ages for their beauty and purported protective qualities.

This finely rendered pendant is a hollow orb accented with enamel flowers and tiny natural sapphire cabochons. Originally an antique 14k gold hat pin (circa 1890-1900), the piece was transformed by removing the pin stem and welding on a 14k gold bail.

The pendant measures 0.8 inches from top to bottom by 0.6 inches wide and is in great condition. We are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 24 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the photos.
