This vintage platinum ring (circa 1930-1940) features a natural star sapphire of approximately 14.98 carats, accented with 42 round brilliant diamonds, 6 straight diamond baguettes, and 2 straight bullet shaped diamond baguettes. The total carat weight of the diamonds is 0.87 carats.
The ring is being sold with a March 19, 2020 appraisal from Lastovica Jewelry Appraisal Services of Houston, TX indicating a retail replacement value of $16,235.00.
The face of the ring measures 0.65 inches by 0.75 inches wide, and it is in very good condition with light surface wear to the sapphire visible under magnification. The ring is a size 7.5 but can be resized free of charge.
