Swallow Earrings | Bird Earrings

Swallows were a common motif in Victorian and Edwardian jewelry symbolic of faithful love and a safe return home.

These cheerful swallow earrings were originally an antique pin (circa 1910-1920). They are 9ct gold and accented with tiny half pearls.

Each earring measures 0.55 inches from wingtip to wingtip by 0.4 inches wide, and they are in very good condition.
