Victorian Turquoise Earrings of 14k Gold

Jewelry inspired by new discoveries of Etruscan and Greek archeological sites was quite popular during the mid-Victorian era.

These stunning archeological-inspired earrings (circa 1860-1880) feature hollow gold orbs ornamented with turquoise and hand applied twisted wire decoration. The earrings have an articulated two part design that provides great movement. They are unmarked, but acid test for 14k gold.

The earrings are in very good condition; however, there is a very small bit of lead solder joining the orbs to the surmounts (visible only under magnification).

The earrings measure 1 inch from top to bottom by 0.5 inches wide, and they are in very good condition.

Materials: Turquoise, Gold.
