Victorian Mourning Ring | Antique Pearl & Black Enamel Ring

A touching "In Memory Of" mourning ring from the Victorian era.

This antique ring (with British hallmarks dating it to 1872) features onyx accented with a hand cut diamond surrounded by a halo of half pearls. The ring is set in 18k gold and adorned with black enamel. The band of the ring reads 'In Memory Of'.

The face of the ring measures 0.5 inches by 0.4 inches wide and the piece is in good condition with wear to the enamel on the underside of the ring, a small scratch to the onyx, and some nacre loss to one of the pearls.

The ring is a size 7.5 and cannot be resized.
