Vintage Diamond and Green Chalcedony Ring of 10k Gold

A striking vintage ring dating to the 1930s, centered with a sparkling diamond mounted atop a polished tablet of rich green chalcedony. The clean geometry of the design and the bold contrast between the bright diamond and translucent green stone reflect the sophisticated aesthetic of the Art Deco era. Elegant and distinctive, the ring possesses a strong graphic presence while remaining highly wearable.

The mounting is marked "PSCO" for the Plainville Stock Company, a prominent American manufacturer of jewelry during the early twentieth century.

The ring measures approximately 0.70 inches north to south by 0.40 inches wide across the face and weighs 3.03 grams. It remains in great vintage condition, with the diamond secure and the chalcedony well preserved.

Currently a size 7, the ring may be resized within reason for an additional charge.

The chalcedony has been identified through Raman spectroscopy, confirming the stone's authenticity. Metal content has been verified by XRF analysis and traditional jeweler's acid testing, confirming a solid 10 karat gold mounting with a 10k white gold accent on top.
