Vintage Floating Opal Necklace of 14k Gold

An antique floating opal lariat necklace by the original designer, Horace Welch. This 1920s era piece is mounted in 14k gold with asymmetrical drops. The top of each drop is stamped "PATS Pending" which refers to the patent by Horace Welch.

The Art Deco era necklace is 16 inches long with a 2.5 inch drop. It is in excellent condition.
