- Beauty is who you are. Jewelry is simply icing on the cake. - M.Burgess
This vintage pendant (circa 1950-1960) doubles as a brooch and features a reverse carved and painted rock crystal in 14k gold. The finely rendered piece depicts an eastern towhee bird on a blooming branch.
The piece measures 1.4 inches from the top of the bail (when raised) by 1.1 inch wide. The piece is in very good condition with very minor wear to the mother of pearl on the back of the rock crystal due to past moisture penetration. This wear is only visible under magnification and not to the naked eye.
Materials: 14k gold, Rock crystal.
