This exquisite dual-purpose, Victorian era jewel (circa 1910-1920), designed as both brooch and pendant, features a richly enameled violet in deep purple tones, crafted in 14k yellow gold. At its center glistens a single old cut diamond, adding a luminous spark to the symbolic bloom. The piece is equipped with a hinged bail, allowing it to transition seamlessly from brooch to pendant.
Measuring 1.4 inches from top to bottom by 1 inch wide, it survives in excellent condition, its enamel beautifully preserved. The gold has been professionally verified through both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing, confirming its 14k purity.
Materials: 14k gold, gold, enamel, diamond.
