Victorian Rubellite Tourmaline and Diamond Ring of 18k Gold

A refined Victorian era ring (circa 1890), centered with a 1.35ct vivid purplish red rubellite tourmaline and two old mine cut diamonds set in 18 karat gold. The rubellite displays rich saturation and lively brilliance, its vibrant tone beautifully complemented by the crisp sparkle of the diamonds. The balanced three-stone arrangement reflects the elegant restraint characteristic of late 19th-century design.

The face of the ring measures 0.4 inches north to south, offering a delicate yet expressive presence on the hand. It is presented in great antique condition; however, we do suspect that the tourmaline is a later replacement stone.

Currently a size 4.25, the ring may be professionally resized for an additional charge.

Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 18K gold construction.
